IRC classes are designed for adults and participants must be18 or olderto participate.​ Minors are not allowed in the studio due to safety precautions.

DEADLINE TO PICK UP COMPLETED CLASS PIECES IS 2 MONTHS FROM THE LAST CLASS DATE. ANY UNCLAIMED PIECES WILL BE DONATED TO THE STUDIO OR DISCARDED. PLEASE CONTACT THE STUDIO IF YOU NEED TO MAKE ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS BEYOND THE DEADLINE.

For cancellations more than 14 DAYS before the first class day, a refund less 15% handling charge will be issued. For cancellations within 14 days before the start of class, class cost will be forfeited unless the space is resold. If the space is resold, a refund less 15% will be issued. We are unable to offer credits for future classes.

Handbuilding Independent Study

Please note: This class is primarily geared toward students with some recent clay experience.

In this five-week class, participants will work on individual pieces of their own creation. Ginny will provide guidance, answers to construction and technique and design development.

Emphasis will be placed on developing personal imagery in the work.

Participants must come with either a work in progress or design ideas to implement during the 5-week session.

Materials Fee: $30 bag of clay (cash or check)

Class Dates: Thursdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Time: 6pm - 9pm

Length of Class: 5 sessions/3 hours each/1 day per week

Clay Skills To Be Learned: Continued development of clay skills and creative expression

 

Materials To Bring: Notebook & pen/pencil. Basic tools will be provided. However, for those who haven't already started, participants are encouraged to start developing their own tool collection.
