NANCY BLAIR
"My art stems from a lifelong interest in Nature, ancient myth and as a healing modality. I am inspired by the colors, shapes, textures and seemingly random movements and rhythm of the natural world. I aim to invent evocative pottery and sculptures that suggest a sense of playfulness and whimsy in form and surface."
I’m currently working on ceramic sculpture for an upcoming solo show at Miami Dade College Kendall Gallery, In The Temple of the Beekeeper, a multi-sensory installation of large vessel forms that evokes an enchanting and healing space for contemplation and wonder."

GINNY PIECH STREET
As a trained printmaker, Ginny is drawn to the surface treatment of her clay pieces. She works at bridging the gap between printmaking and clay work through techniques such as underglaze transfers. With her sculptural pieces she works at drawing in the viewer through partially telling a story with her images. She builds an edginess into her work to help prompt the viewer to finish the story with his/her own narrative. She believes that art should solicit an emotional response from the viewer. Joy, laughter, and even uneasiness are all responses she looks for.

MARIA SPARSIS
"I love the lore, the history and tradition of clay, and the endless variety of techniques that clay artists have developed, over thousands of years. Consequently, I love to experiment, learn and incorporate varied techniques into my own work. Some experiments and techniques are discarded, others are incorporated into my craft vocabulary, to be refined and reused. My work, often inspired by natural elements, ranges from the functional to the sculptural. And then there’s faces. I love faces. And sometimes, you just have to entertain yourself."
