FROM WOBBLE TO WOW: Build Stronger Forms & Bolder Pots with Personality & Pzazz
10-Week Intensive
**Wheel experience required**
Ready to get more confident at the wheel and make pots with real presence? If you
know your way around the wheel but still wrestle with centering, forming, or making your
pots feel truly your own, this ten-week course is your invitation to dig in, loosen up, and
make stronger, livelier, more expressive work with pzazz and personality.
Guided by master potter Nancy Blair, this course gives wheel-experienced artists the
time, support, and expert instruction to deepen their skills, loosen creative blocks, and
bring more confidence to the wheel. You’ll work a variety of forms including covered
jars, bowls, mug sets, candleholders, throwing off the hump, and larger-scale forms
while refining the essential skills that make every pot stronger from the inside out.
Through lively demonstrations, individual guidance, and plenty of hands-on help, you’ll
strengthen your centering, sharpen your sense of form, explore surface texture and
design, and learn glazing approaches that help your pottery feel unmistakably your own.
Nancy will help you troubleshoot challenges, push past frustration, and develop pieces
with more presence, personality, and creative flair.
By the end of the ten-week session, you’ll have several finished works, a stronger
technical foundation, and more confidence to take creative risks at the wheel. Whether
you want to improve your control, expand your forms, or discover a more distinctive
voice in clay, this course offers a fun, focused, and inspiring journey into what your
hands can truly create.
