Heirloom Ornaments
Create a collection of whimsical ceramic ornaments that can become part of your holiday traditions for years to come. In this two-session class, you'll build your own one-of-a-kind ornaments using handbuilding techniques, then return one week later to add color, surface decoration, and plenty of personality.
These aren't ordinary holiday ornaments. Think quirky, unusual shapes, bold patterns, and whatever else your imagination comes up with. Make ornaments for your own tree, give them as gifts, or start a collection you can add to year after year. No two will be alike!

Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm
Length of Class: Two sessions, three hours each
- Session 1: Creating and building your ornaments
- Session 2: Glazing and decorating your finished ornaments
Clay Skills To Be Learned: Handbuilding skills, small press molds, and underglazing
Materials To Bring:

Your favorite clay tools, if you have them. (Basic clay tools will be provided)
- Favorite brushes for decorating and glazing.
- Underglazes or other decorating materials you particularly like to work with, if you have them. Basic underglaze colors will be provided.
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for working with clay.
