Tabletop Fountains
Create your own functional and artistic tabletop fountain in this three-session class.
Session 1 (3 hours): Build your fountain structure using handbuilding techniques and your creative design.
Session 2 (3 hours): Glaze your bisqued fountain pieces, choosing colors and finishes that reflect your personal style.
Session 3 (1 hour): Assemble your fountain by adding the pump and enjoy a show-and-tell of everyone’s creations.
Your finished fountain can serve as a soothing meditation piece or a stylish pet watering fountain.

Clay Skills To Be Learned: how to make a repeated pattern with stamps, how to construct a clay fountain
Materials To Bring: two clay slabs between 1/2” and 3/8” thick, one at least 15” square and the other can be slightly smaller. Bring extra clay. Bags can be purchased at Indian River Clay for $30 (25lb bag). Your favorite clay tools. Basic tools and some stamps will be provided. If you participated in Ginny’s stamp kit class, bring your stamps.
